In conclusion, this study has provided a comprehensive overview of the difficulties and coping strategies of business consecutive interpretation guided by Skopos Theory. The results of this study suggest that the main difficulties encountered by interpreters include the lack of domain knowledge, the pressure of time, and the challenge of maintaining accuracy. To cope with these difficulties, interpreters can adopt various strategies such as active listening, note-taking, and knowledge-building. Furthermore, the results of this study indicate that Skopos Theory is a useful tool for interpreters to use in order to make decisions in the interpretation process.
Overall, this study has contributed to the field of interpretation by providing a better understanding of the difficulties and coping strategies of business consecutive interpretation guided by Skopos Theory. The findings of this study can be used to inform the development of training and educational programs for interpreters, as well as to provide guidance for interpreters in their daily practice.
