This study explored the difficulties and coping strategies of business consecutive interpretation guided by Skopos Theory. It was found that the difficulties faced by interpreters in this field include linguistic and cultural challenges, as well as the complexity of the source text. To cope with these difficulties, interpreters can employ a variety of strategies, such as self-preparation, knowledge accumulation, and team collaboration. This study has implications for interpreter training and practice, as well as for the development of interpreting services.
