Translator subjectivity refers to the subjective initiative demonstrated by the translator in the translation activity in order to achieve the translation purpose, while respecting the object of translation. Its basic characteristics are the translator’s conscious cultural awareness, humanistic character, cultural and aesthetic creativity.
